Contact us to arrange a meeting with our dedicated sales team, who are more than happy to come to your site. They will guide you through our Building Assessment Process, to ensure your unique requirements are understood and addressed.

Based on your discussions, we will create a comprehensive concept plan which includes a floor plan and side elevations. Alongside this, we will provide you with an estimated build cost, while not final, this serves as an initial guide to help you make informed decisions.

Once you are satisfied with the estimated price and concept plans, we will work diligently to prepare a fixed price contract tailored to your specific needs. This thorough process ensures that every aspect of your build is accounted for.

Once the contract is signed, we will compile all the necessary working drawings for submission to the council for consent. We handle the paperwork, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. This step ensures compliance with regulations and paves the way for a smooth construction process.

Transportable Builds
This is a great option if you want to skip the disturbance to your site that happens when a build is undertaken onsite. All of our Standard plans can be built as a Transportable build ready to be delivered to your site, as well as design builds.
Construction of your transportable build is completed in Tauranga. Transport costs can be priced for you to have your build delivered to your site. Power, storm water, waste water and foundation connections are all extra costs that you will need to have priced by a suitable installer. Before your build leaves our site we invite you to come and inspect your build.
What’s involved in the Building Assessment Process?
Whether you opt for a build on site or one of our transportable builds, the process leading up the building consent stage is basically the same.
Note: as councils across the country are tightening up their building consent requirements, there are some specialty reports that are now required to accompany any building consent application.

A current topographical survey or a contour survey of the land showing boundaries and Contour details.

Geotechnical reporting on the building site, this is a complex report where boreholes are taken from the site and the soil is analysed for composition and determines what depth below the ground level it is expected to find what is known as “good ground”. This report is the basis for determining how much ground excavation is required, how much hardfill is required to fill in and compact the excavated area, and what type of foundation requirements need to be met for a building to be either placed or built on the site.

Depending on the findings and recommendations contained within the geotechnical report, it may require us to have the foundations specifically designed by an engineer. These engineers do charge a fee for their designs, which inevitably require us to send these designs out for quoting.

Storm water is often a subject that is easily overlooked and is different for each property..
Residential.
If you intend to build in a residential property, there is no guarantee that you are able to dispose of yoursStorm water via the town/city storm water system. Sometimes these are already at full capacity and the council will require you to dispose of this within your own property by the use of soak holes or soak pits. If this is the later, a specifically designed disposal system will be required.Rural.
Rural properties can either collect their storm water for their own drinking consumption, by the use of water tanks or dispose of it via soak holes or soak pits. Soak holes/pits require specific design. -
Residential
Depending on the age of the subdivision it is not uncommon to find the need to have a septic tank system designed and installed within your residential property. This is quite common in the outskirts of residential areas where it was once farming land and the residential area has grown out to these communities.Sewerage connections. There are two parts to this specification
If this building is a primary building where this is the only dwelling on the property, then a single service connection can be applied within the consent application.
If this is a secondary building, where there are two dwellings on the one property, then the sewerage connection must be connected to the primary dwelling pipeline within the property boundaries. The secondary dwelling cannot have its own council sewerage connection.
